Reservations

How do I book a reservation for a private event?

~ If you are interested in booking a private event, submit a Private Event Inquiry Form and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
~ When you are ready to confirm your event, you will receive an invoice to pay the deposit to hold your date and time. You have 48 hours to pay your deposit before invoice is canceled.
~ A minimum deposit of $150 is due 48 hours after receipt of invoice. The balance is due 7 days prior to your event.
~ Deposits are credited towards your event and covers the spot for 4 guests.

How do I register for a public class?

~ To register for an upcoming class, please visit our Event Calendar page.
~ Select the class that works best for you and register to secure your seat.
~ Our classes tend to sale out so we highly recommend that you act quickly!
~ Walk-is are welcome however please call to ensure there are available seats.

 

Cancelations

How do I cancel my private reservations?

~ Deposits or guest payments toward private events are NON-REFUNDABLE but may be used to attend future public paint events within 3 months of cancel request.
~ If you need to cancel your private event, please email or call us to receive store credit.

How do I cancel my public party reservations?

~ If you must cancel, please allow at lease a 48 hour notice by emailing or calling us to open the cancelled seat to a guest on our waiting list.
~ We will give you a store credit valid to use towards another class for up to 3 months from date of cancellation. You can also transfer your credit to another guest. Just email the name of the guest who will receive the credit.
~ No rescheduled will be given if you cancel within 24 hours of event.
~ Due to the preparation of our classes, TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. We appreciate your understanding.

*PRIVATE Classes canceling with less than 7-day notification will forfeit their deposit

*In the event a PRIVATE PARTY is cancelled, store credits only will be issued to those already registered/paid

What should I expect at an ILC Studio class?

  • A relaxed and fun learning environment that will help you bring your artistic In Living Colour! Our classes are not instructor led. Our classes are intended for a fun and relaxation.  You will feel comfortable when you enter the door and we encourage good vibes only!

How much are tickets? What's included in the price? How long are the classes?

 

  • Everything! ILC Studio provides 2-hour paint events that include all art supplies (art design, 12x16 canvas, easel, paint, brushes & apron). You just bring your own bottle wine/champagne/juice/sparking beverage. Just no hard alcohol or beer! You can also bring your own food/snacks into the venue.:

    • Adult Ticket Price (Public Paint Events): $35.00 per person

    • Adult Ticket Price (Private Paint Events): $40.00 per person for regular paint and $45.00 for glow paint

    • Kids under 12: $25.00 per child

    • Mobile Paint Parties: $48.00 per person

    • Virtual Paint Parties: $45 per person

    • Fundraisers: $40.00 per person ( 70/30 split)

    • Glow in the Dark Painting: $45.00 per person

  • Class Time Frame:

    • Each class is 2 hours long. You can arrive half-an-hour before your event to set-up and you are half-an-hour after your event to wind down and clean up. If you go over your ending time, an additional fee of $50.00 for every half hour will be added to your final total.

When should I arrive to class?

  • We suggest you Check-in 15  minutes before class starts.

  • This will allow you time to select a seat (if in groups, you can secure seats next to each other), grab a beverage, and set-up your snacks.

  • Classes start RIGHT ON TIME.

Do you offer Private Events in studio?

Yes! Private parties are a fun way to enjoy the night with your own group and celebrate for any occasion! We can host your event at our venue or bring the event to you. Go to our Private Events page for more details.

 

Are photos taken during classes and events?

  • Yes, we love photos and showcasing our guests paintings. We also welcome you to tag us!

  • We will be taking random and group photos, as well as, some video during all our classes and events to add to the studio or post on our web and social media sites.

  • Please let us know in advance if you are camera shy and prefer not to be photographed or videoed.

  • No royalties are paid for posted photos or videos.

 

What safety precautions do you take to keep everything safe?

  • We space out the tables and seating to make sure painters are socially distanced.

  • We require customers to wear a mask to enter the studio

  • Everyone is asked to sanitize their hands upon entering the studio

  • We frequently disinfect high-touch areas

  • All painting supplies are disinfected before and after every class.

  • Staff will wear masks at all times

  • Aprons are washed before and after every event

 

How should I prepare for class?

  • Print out a copy of the invoice or email confirmation

  • Even though we provide aprons, wear something you don't mind getting a little paint on.

  • Bring "Good Vibes Only" attitude and of course bring your own food & drinks!

Is there parking available?

Yes! There is 3  parking options.

  1. Parking location in Midway Urban Apartments.  You can park anywhere except under the covered parking.

  2. Parking in Luby's Parking lot across from studio.

  3. Street parking behind apartments near lake. 

PLEASE NOTE that In Living Colour classes are NOT serious art lessons, but are intended for you to RELAX, HAVE FUN, MEET NEW FRIENDS and leave with an AWESOME piece of artwork!  

 

Note: If a class does not have sufficient registration, class may be canceled. By registering you are authorizing the photographing of yourself and or your child during the class and understand that the resulting photographs may be published and used to promote In Living Colour and give permission to reproduce photographs taken for promotional purposes.
