How do I book a reservation for a private event?

~ If you are interested in booking a private event, please go to Book Services link and choose which service that you would like to book.
~ A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due to book private paint parties..  
~ Paint Party Deposit secure your date and time ONLY.  THIS DEPOSIT DOES NOT COVERS GUEST ENTRY FEE.  THE HOST WILL STILL HAVE TO BUY HIS OR HER TICKET.

~ Event Space Rental Deposits are Refundable.  More Information about refundable deposit is located in Event Contract. 

How do I register for a public class?

~ To register for an upcoming class, please visit our Home page or Upcoming Events Page.
~ Select the class that works best for you and register to secure your seat. Seats are first come first serve unless you purchase a RSVP

Are Children allowed?

Most of our classes are for ages 17 year old and up.  All classes schedule after 5 are for adults (17 yrs and older) only.  We do host several classes that caters to children throughout the year.  Please refer back to upcoming events link to find out when those classes will take place.  Any kid friendly events will post what age the child have to be in order to attend.

How do I cancel my private reservations?

~ Deposits or guest payments toward private events are NON-REFUNDABLE but may be used to attend future public paint events within 30 days of cancel request.
~ If you need to cancel your private event, please email or call us to receive store credit.

How do I cancel my public party reservations?

~ If you must cancel, please allow at lease a 48 hour notice by emailing or calling us to open the cancelled seat to a guest on our waiting list.
~ We will give you a store credit valid to use towards another class for up to 30 days from date of cancellation. You can also transfer your credit to another guest. Just email the name of the guest who will receive the credit. YOU CAN ONLY RESCHEDULE ONCE.  IF YOU MISS A RESCHEDULE CLASS, THAT CREDIT IS NOW VOID.
~ No rescheduled will be given if you cancel within 24 hours of event. 
~ Due to the preparation of our classes, TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. We appreciate your understanding.

***In the event of a severe weather or state mandated closure (including COVID-19), a store credit will be issued.

We require a 24hrs notice of cancellation for any ILC event.  Once canceled, we will issue you a coupon code equal to your class credit.  ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE sent email to info@inlivingcolourpaintandsip.com. Parties of 10 or more must cancel 7 days before the date of the class. ( Please leave a message if calling after hours, please leave detail message with name of host and date of event.

*****NO SHOWS AND/OR LATE ARRIVALS ( 20 MINUTES PAST START OF CLASS) WILL NOT RECEIVE REFUND OR STORE CREDIT.

There is a NO REFUND policy. NO EXCEPTIONS!  We give STORE CREDIT ONLY.  STORE CREDIT EXPIRES 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASED!   NO SHOWS WILL NOT RECEIVE A STORE CREDIT!

 

*PRIVATE Classes canceling with less than 7-day notification will forfeit their deposit

*In the event a PRIVATE PARTY is cancelled, store credits only will be issued to those already registered/paid

What should I expect at an ILC Studio class?

  • A relaxed and fun learning environment that will help you bring your artistic In Living Colour! Our classes are not instructor led. Our classes are intended for a fun and relaxation time.  You will feel comfortable when you enter the door and we encourage good vibes only!

How much are tickets? What's included in the price? How long are the classes?

 

  • Everything! ILC Studio provides 2-hour paint events that include all art supplies (art design, 12x16 canvas, easel, paint, brushes & apron). You just bring your own bottle wine/champagne/juice/sparking beverage. Just no hard alcohol or beer! You can also bring your own snacks into the venue ABSOLUTELY NO PLATED FOOD:     We are a BYOB studio. Guest may snack while they are painting. Snacks are limited to individually packed light snacks (finger sandwiches, cheese, crackers, small fruit cups, cookies, cupcakes, chips and dip, etc). Snacks must be in individual bags/containers/to-go-box (per guest). Drinks are allowed and cups are provided. Be sure to chill your drinks prior to attending the venue or bring ice. No large trays, platters, coolers or dispensers are allowed in the venue.​

    • Adult Ticket Price (Public Paint Events): starts at $45.00 per person

    • Adult Ticket Price (Private Paint Events): canvas $50.00 per person for regular paint and $58.00 for glow paint

    • Kids under 12: $35.00 per child

    • Mobile Paint Parties: Canvas Party $48.00 per person  : Doormat Party 58.00 per person Plus an added 125 travel fee

    • Virtual Paint Parties: $45 per person

    • Fundraisers: Canvas $50.00 per person  Doormat $55 ( 75/25 split)

    • Glow in the Dark Painting: $55.00 per person

    • Specialty classes such as Doormats, Demin jackets, Pot Heads etc. starts at $50-65.00 per person.

  • Private Class Time Frame:

    • Each class is 2 hours long. You can arrive half-an-hour before your event to set-up and 30 minutes after your event to clean up. If you go over your ending time, an additional fee of $50.00 for every half hour will be added to your final total.

    • If you would like to add on more hours, its $100 an hour.

When should I arrive to class?

  • We suggest you arrive 5-10  minutes before class starts. Doors open 5 minutes before schedule start time.

  • This will allow you time to select a seat (if in groups, you can secure seats next to each other).

  • Classes start RIGHT ON TIME.

Do you offer Private Events in studio?

Yes! Private parties are a fun way to enjoy the night with your own group and celebrate for any occasion! We can host your event at our venue or bring the event to you. Go to our Private Events page for more details.

 

Are photos taken during classes and events?

  • Yes, we love photos and showcasing our guests paintings. PLEASE tag us ON INSTAGRAM, TICTOK OR FACEBOOK.

  • We will be taking random and group photos, as well as, some video during all our classes and events to add to the studio or post on our web and social media sites.

  • Please let us know in advance if you are camera shy and prefer not to be photographed or videoed.

  • No royalties are paid for posted photos or videos.

 

What safety precautions do you take to keep everything safe?

  • We space out the tables and seating to make sure painters are socially distanced.

  • We require customers to wear a mask to enter the studio

  • Everyone is asked to sanitize their hands upon entering the studio

  • We frequently disinfect high-touch areas

  • All painting supplies are disinfected before and after every class.

  • Staff will wear masks at all times

  • Aprons are washed before and after every event

 

How should I prepare for class?

  • Print out a copy of the invoice or email confirmation

  • Even though we provide aprons, wear something you don't mind getting a little paint on.

  • Bring "Good Vibes Only" attitude and of course bring your own snacks & drinks!

Is there parking available?

Yes! There is 2  parking options.

  1. Parking in Luby's Parking lot across from studio.

  2. Street parking behind apartments near lake. 

  3. *******ALTHOUGH WE ARE LOCATED IN MIDWAY URBAN VILLAGE APARTMENTS, PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN MIDWAY URBAN APARTMENTS. TOWING WILL BE ENFORCE.

PLEASE NOTE that In Living Colour classes are NOT serious art lessons, but are intended for you to RELAX, HAVE FUN, MEET NEW FRIENDS and leave with an AWESOME piece of artwork!  

 

Note: If a class does not have sufficient registration, class may be canceled and reschedule. You will have a choice to attend the rescheduled class or use credit towards a different class (equal or less value).  By registering you are authorizing the photographing of yourself and or your child during the class and understand that the resulting photographs may be published and used to promote In Living Colour and give permission to reproduce photographs taken for promotional purposes.
